Does anyone else agree with me that the stock alarm does not work at all? I just had my maxima stolen and the alarm didn't go off at all.

Can anyone suggest an aftermarket alarm?

But you lose some of the features from the stock such as window roll down and stuff.

Installation can be pricey plus the trunk celenoid.

Prophecy, if you get some other parts you can make the windows roll down and back up. So even better than the stock. The details are in that GD. I was just looking through it for info on the alarm...looks like a very good one. How is it armed/unarmed? Just by locking/unlocking the doors?

I was plannin on gettin this setup, or atleast on this style of setup because my stock alarm sucks too. It goes off when it shouldn't and doesn't go off when it should. Makes no sense and I have no remote. *shruggs shoulders* Whatever, I need something though.

 

its not the alarm part that isnt good, its the remotes... alarm is probably fine, but i hate 2way remotes... and personally i hate auto car starters, i put them in for 5 years and ive never been happy with them
