i was lookin at ebay, and i saw a nismo short shifter for a maxima? i didnt think nismo mad short shifters for the maxima heres the link help?

There is *NO* info on that nismo, and I personally have never seen it before. when it comes to something as important as the shifter, I personally DEFINITELY do not think "cheap" to myself. I'd rather not have my shift lever break a weld and become an extension of my hand while im accelerating on an on-ramp, just my .02c.

Just over a week ago I installed my B&M Ripper STS (same as you linked to ebay.) I got it for $139.99 new from summit (just get the B&M part # and search on summit if you want to find it there.) Everyone that has talked about STS when i posted some questions, all love their B&M's hands down. Mine just in the last few days has smoothed up nicely and I'm loving every minute of it. 40% throw reduction and between 1-2" drop of the shift ****, amounts to much much less travel of the arm! I don't almost put my fist through my stereo anymore

furthermore, that nismo auction ONLY pictures a shift lever! if it isn't an entire assembly like the B&M then you're gonna be re-using the old stock parts, which didn't look too great in my car when i pulled them out. some short throw kits that include only a lever require that you replace the stock assembly around the pivot ball, kinda crappy in my personal opinion. the B&M is a complete replacement, fits perfect.

ALTHOUGH, I did scrape up the nice billet finish of the assembly trying to clip those god forsaken retaining rings on (you can't see this anyways, but I know its there. ). if you get the B&M I would hit up a parts store and grab a retaining clip opener/spreader
