Anyone know what springs the SMX Maxima uses and how much it lowers the car? thx....

Pretty sure they were Eibachs. That would mean about 1.5" drop.

Thanx.... hmm... sorta looks lower than sprints.. well the rear that is.... doesn't the sprints lower front and back by 2"?

No, not Stillen. I thought someone posted earlier that the Stillen used progressive springs from Rod Millen.

The SMX uses a Eibach pro spring kit,

Which lowers the car 1.25{not 1.5}inches.

Yes Sprint springs lower a max by 2.0 inches

The SMX has Millen springs. One the guys that has an SMX here told me. Rod Millen(Steves brother) made them, I dont know if he still does.

Apparently...

It is different based on the year the car was made.

The 96 SMX Maxima's used the Millen springs, whereas the 97 SMX (rare) used Eibachs.
