My freakin Silverstars burnt out

Only 8 months after I bought em, one of my Silverstars already burned out. I need to replace em now, but I don't want Silverstars again. Can anyone reccomend a whiter than stock light that lasts a semi-long time?

I had some silverstars that only lasted like 10 months. That sucks!

Anyway, I tried a bunch of others that were "whiter" than stock, and ended up just going back to stock. If you do, you will notice how much more visibility you have. There is tons more light output in the stock ones than those "white" ones.

My OEM's are still going. I took them out to put in the Silverstars and then some others, and have since put the same ones back in(not new ones). They are still just really bright and going strong.

Yesterday a 9 month old Silverstar burned out on me. As big of a hard-on I get for the HID kits from CustomMaxima, I just DON'T have $1000 to spend on heads and fogs. not even the $500 for just the heads. Guess I'm headed out to the store today to buy yet another Silverstar bulb . . . . . . unless I get the energy to do the 9007 swap . . . .

Well, according to their site, the life expectancy for their bulbs is only about a year, but they do offer this...

What kind of warranty do you offer on your ST?
