just wondering what kinds of car people have beaten with there maxima and if auto or manual. also cars that peeps have lost 2. also has anyone raced a type r? and if u did, did u win or lose. i raced one but it was weird i won one the freeway but he kinda killed me off the line i think this was because i had 2 fat peeps and one skinny person in my car and he had only himself. Also i hand barly no mods. now i got CAI and an exhaust. so im going to race him again.......to be Continued

A4 1.8T, modded 94 prelude vtec, mustang cobra (fully loaded, literally), durango, beetle, explorer, camaro v6, civics (all flavors), 528i, modded 240sx, modded 92 integra, 5th gen max (auto)...

the only car that beat me so far was that A4 1.8T. he had 4wd and took me on a turn even when i was a few carlengths in front after a straight away. o yeah, lost to my friends vette. i was too busy staring at his borla exhaust screaming in my face.

all kinds of civics and accords
SHO auto

I hung right with several Mustang GTs (autos I presume)

I got wasted by:
an S4 (I wasnt trying to race...just follow his moves in traffic)
A camaro that I didnt know was a V8
Several others I'm sure (I try to forget the losses)

I usually dont pick fights I know I'll lose.

one day i was leaving school and i was next to this chick in a 98 mustang cobra.. (i knew it was a 98 cause it was on her plate lol) well anyway i knew she would rip me apart but i wanted to see how much that thing had so at the light i took off and she was probably about 5 car lengths ahead of me... that thing is no joke... im sure i could hold my own against a GT at least not get killed, but that thing is just sick... she may have had some mods i wasnt sure, it was nice though

a honDUH type R
i got him off the line and eased ahead of him slowly. At the end of the 1/4 (or so) his front bumper was about at my rear bumper. Si's are much more fun. they are usually a car length or two behind me after a quarter. Oh yeah i have a 5spd

That turbo hatchback (the civic) must have been a DX. They don't make the EX model in a hatch. The EX was top of the line before the new release of the SI's, and they only make it in the 2-door coupe. Nice kills though!

wins: almost everything everyone else has named. also, NSX, bottle fed mustang GT, '96 3000GT VR4, and... LT1's, LS1's. don't remember anymore.

losses: new Z06, 84 camaro w/ 383 stroker. not many in this category cuz i usually don't pick on ppl i know i can't beat and many of the cars i want to race, don't even bother looking at me when i rev.

Note: if i go back and beat someone after they previously beat me because i had some mechanical malfunction or because i was out of nitrous, then i count that as a win.

I didn't really race one but I saw one take off the other day at a light cuz he needed to get in the other lane...looked pretty impressive. I know its got around a 6.4 0-60 with an autobox. Could you imagine a manual?

I don't go looking to race, so my only one is almost too embarassing to mention. I made a regular start from a light on a road where the business portion ends and the highway begins, and the ***Escort ZX2*** next to me spun its wheels and chugged like hell to catch up with me. As it went by, the girl in the passenger seat gave me the finger, so I walked them.
That's my one kill.
Really not even worth mentioning.

My buddy just got his car back from the engine shop the other day. They put some Integra engine in it. Supposed to have 220 hp. He got off the line quicker but as soon as I got up to about 3000 rpms, it was all over. He just kept getting farther and farther away. Typical Honda comment after the race, "My engine wasn't fully warmed up so the VTEC wasn't kicking in." Guess I'll have to race him again when he's got a 'warm' engine.

some kills that i could remember are: 88 trans am GTA, 85-88 style camaro 305, 2000 civic si with a CAI, contour svt (i hope the contour svt people read this one) and i cant really think right now of my good kills... i hardly lose because like everyone else, i dont look to race people who i know will smoke me...

O' okay. The hatchback with the Vtec is actually the Si model. They made the Si's from 1991-1993 in the hatchback model ONLY. They discontinued it until 2000, obviously.

the EG body sohc vtec hatch was the SI and was made from 92-95... then they discontinued it til 99 and brought it back as a coupe with the dohc vtec... they had SIs before this, in the boxy style, but none of them had VTEC in the states...

I was just trying to help him in his trim lines so if he was mabey talking to his friends about road kills and one of them had a Honda he'd be able to tell him exactly what kind he defeated in battle ...Didn't think I was doing anything wrong by that As far as the other comment, i was just kidding around...Writing on these forum boards is my 'lax' time, I was just making conversation and joking around with a fellow maxima driver. I'm sorry my Max doesn't meet your specifications for a "good looking car", mabey whenever I get around to having these GC's put on that I've had in a box for the past month it'll look better. Because of you I am very self-conscious when I drive my car on public roads. I can't help but feel that everyone thinks like you, that everyone thinks my car is...ugly. I even drive with my head down and a baseball cap covering my face, I am so embarrassed. The purchase of my new home and the unbelievable success of my 8-month-old business aren’t enough to satisfy my thirst for expectancy. With a marriage date set for mid June and a son or daughter on the way (due in late November), I can't bear to face the fact that my future wife and child may not except me because I haven't had time to get my car lowered. When I dream I see faces...faces that constantly ridicule me, urging me to lower my maxima, and dirt mounds...mounds with faces that tell me to drive over them because my car his higher than a Pathfinder. When I walk through the doors of my office, I see faces on the wall, I hear voices, and I feel a vibe discontent circulating throughout the atmosphere. Even the sparkle of my 20's and the sounds coming from my custom stereo don't satisfy me. Or the new leather sofa I purchased on sale from Burdines Furniture in Boca Raton, Florida. I am fearful...fearful of what may happen if I lower my car and acceptance is still ill achieved. What happens then? What happens then?

Some dude said that he beat a VR4. What kind of crack is he smokin' and where can I get it? I followed a VR4 up to 120mph before backing off b/c I could see my insurance going up before my eyes. I had a hard time keeping up with him.

I have no problem with you talking sh*t about my car, as I think my last post illustrated. As far as "growing up" I think the maturity levels between you and I is quite apparent.
