Have you ever slept in your maxima?

I registered for a 7:30am class this semester.

Got finished with my test at 8-8:30am, then had a break until 1:30pm.

I live an hour / 50 min / $10 in gas - away from school. No one I know in ATL was awake or they were working. I knew if I drove back home I was gonna miss the exam at 130...

The back seat isn't too bad.

Compared to my civic, the maxima is a 4 star hotel, and I'm 6' tall. Comes with a complimentary wake-up call when classmate sees your car running, walks over, and laughs in your face.

ohhhh.... only 15 more weeks of this.

I had to at a field/barn party cause everybody threw up on the floor and the party SUCKED! Who though a graduation party could suck!? Anyways, the backseat really isn't that bad if it's the last resort. Just push the front seats up and you got plenty of space to relax. The only problem is in the morning the windows are soaked and it streaks really bad when you try and wipe them down.

I keep a pillow in the back of mine two. It's a pretty sweet move when your lost in the middle of no where and can't affoard a hotel. The only downside is the leather. I had to peel my face off of the seat cause i didn't have a pillow. OUCH!

lol, after a graduation party, i ended up on the concrete sleeping, and woke up and found that it wasnt that comfortable. i then ventured out to my car and slept in the passenger seat...definitely comfortable as far as sleeping in a car goes. although i also had to peel myself off the leather too in the morning.

I don't think the back seat is very comfortable. However, if you have a pillow it's not bad at all.

My car has leather interior. Nothing stuck to it, but I can vouch for the fact fabric int are about as comfortable as a brick covered in felt.

There was a blanket and a pull-over in my trunk. I wadded up the pullover to make a pillow against the door and it turned out great.

A friend saw my car running in the parking lot. Otherwise I might still be out there. lol sleep deprivation It's nice to know, as long as I have a few gallons of gas, I have a home.

Someone on the org has a "Sleeps in a Maxima down by the river" title. rofl

BTW I tried sleeping in the driver seat with it all the way back but it wasn't comfortable at all. I'm sure I could sleep there if I had to, but the backseat is so easy to crawl up in if you have covers and a pillow.

I've slept in the maxima dozens of time ( the front seat is comfortable put it all the way back, the only flaw is if its electric, its kinda of slow, compared to the passenger side) , fooling around in the maxima is another good memory (lots of space in the back, oh back in the day, and lots of space in the front too. hehehehe.)

....Yeah, and never again. Slept on it with my girl once along time ago at the Cape, and she left me after that. Now, after many years, I'm still asking myself, whether my Max so uncomfortable to have a FLAT or she thought I'm too cheap to hang-out with? Infact, I was too poor at the time, almost broke. Well, I guess time to move on to another chapter.

Slept in my max once. That was last year during the Northeast blackout. Is not too bad to sleep in there. It brought back alot of memories that night.

I don't like sleeping in the back seat and i'm only 5'7". Maybe i'll get a pillow and a blanket to see how it goes.

Passenger is better. No pedals. I think if you're drunk it's legal to be in the passenger seat passed out as well.

HAHA this is too funny.

I havent had to sleep in the new max yet. It has leather.
Had some fun in the old max. Old max is cloth.

For those with leather like me, keep a fleece blanket in the trunk along with the pillow. WHen you have to sleep....lay...whatever, lay the fleece on the back seat and tuck it in. Its really comfortable and most important...its not sticky when you get hot. Keeping 2 fleece blankets...1 for the lower portion and 1 for the back of the seat may suit you better if the maxima becomes a temp hotel.

PS. I didnt fart in my maxima for the first year i had it. Now I lift my *** and air it out real quick when i really have to. LOL. I had to share that.

Hmmmm, slept in the backseat in the max many a time.
Best was gettin busy in the backseat one night at my friends party. Iwas in the backseat with this girl trying to blow my struts when a grip of peeps came outside into the front yard. I have dark tint so they didnt see me. anyway i tell this girl to stfu and chill so she shifts and accidently steps on my keys that had fell out of my pants, of course hitting my panic button on my keys....... so next thing you know my car is lighting up like a christmas tree and EVERYBODY immediatly knows where id dissapeared to with the girl in question. So of course you know what happens next, like 10 people procede to surround the max and rock it back and forth yelling and laughing. All i could do was roll down the window and give a big smile, a full moon and a . In conclusion: back seat aint too bad at all

It's so close to impossible to step and hold the panic button. Maybe she wanted to get caught, but you gotta love the tint.

I can easily admit to sleeping in my Max, good ole Leather was comfortable Girlfriend and I did it many times, slide the seats all the way back and lean, with a blanket, its suprisingly comfortable.

Gotta love the Max, a sporty sedan, and a comfortable place to sleep if needed.

I am surprised to see that so many peeps like me do not only consider Maxima their second "home" but utilize to fullest extent. I have a pillow and and a sleeping bag in the car 24/7. Sometimes when I am away from home and have no place to stay over or circumastances becaome so, I just find a quiet dead end street and zzzzzzz.....!!! It is pretty roomy to stay there with gf as well if need be

Going to the coast and having no money, the maxima served as a good bed. I love the room compared to my other bed car, my 300zx (RIP). I just think that the maxima has so much more room than other cars.

Now I just wish that I could get a tv and frig in their and then i'll never have to go home.

very true, passenger is better with no pedals, then again it doesnt really matter all that much in the driver seat if she is flexible enough .

oh and nothing beats goin to the car inbetween classes, puttin a good movie in, and dozzin off. gotta love it.

and the back seat for me atleast is defintly big enough to sleep comfortably, but im usually too lazy to go back their when i can just recline the driver seat ALL the way back.
