totalled max
my 3rd gen was totaled back in DEC, thats when i got my 4th gen, which was hit 3 days latter (3 hours a full wax job, and haven't waxed since... too scared) when some stupid b!tch pulled out of a drive way without looking
by the way, why would you want to ask a question like that, thats like saying, "OH! Has anyone's mom died lately?!?" I know to some of us it kinda hurts to think about it..... (pics on my site of both wrecks with a animated reinactment of the first!!)
Why are you asking? I thought my car was totaled but the insurance adjustor made sure it didn't happen. They gave my car a value of $6700, 96 auto se with 102k miles, and the total for repairs came to be just over $5k. The funny part is that all the shops I took it to didn't want to do the work cause the estimate was about $2500 too low, go figure. I told ALLSTATE and they said to have the shop call them for more money. I decided to let them **** themselves and took the damn money.
i almost got totaled today. was driving home Lake Shore Drive North Between Fullerton and Belmont. and Fullerton exit was backed up. and this one guy in the backed up lane slamed his brakes in to the left lane (my lane) and i swerve into the next lane just a bit (over steered) and over steered back into my lane. and back and forth at about 55 MPH damn ******* driver. some people shouldnt be allowed to drive.

But thankfully I havent wrecked my car... its still all in one piece
the reason i asked this wasnt to hear horror stories about totalled max's, that would hurt me as much as the next guy. I was just in need of a few really small annoying parts off the car, and the nearest junk yard is a boring hour drive away (the only way to get there is via a 30mph road, which SUCKS) Anyway was hoping to find someone that would sell the parts (just random things like screws and stuff) as someone with a car that wasnt totalled obviously wouldnt want to part with these things
