Courtesy is out of stock (don't know if they'll be coming back). There is a GD in the works for them now. Just in case you guys don't know, you will gain power at the top end at the cost of low/mid range. Here's the so called "mevi faq" http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=217001.

and one more thing:
with the MEVI you car will still be just as fast for a 1/4 mile (one makes up for the other)
but if (some day) you get the ECU upgrade, the your car will very fast.
I think that alone (MEVI and ecu) and some back seat removed and stuff, will get you 13.XX on the 1/4.
now if you are thiniking about street racing, then oyu should.... STOP thinking about it, and go to the track.
I just bought my MEVI today (this morning) from this GD deal, and in a few weeks I will get mine at home.
MEVI is great for HWY driving.

question. deso anyone know if witht he MEVI I wiill get better or worst gas economy (assume I do grany driving)?

Since I have put on the mevi, it hasn't really effected my gas mileage enough to notice big losses.

FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE Middle Eastern Variable Intake LOOK AND RESEARCH THE MAXIMA PERFORMANCE STICKY(page 2) ON THE TOP OF THE 4TH GEN FORUM.

MEVI and ECU work very together, but no it will not make you run 13's. It gives you great top end and the ECU will advance your ignition to give you the mid range back and JWT will give you an extended red line to take advantage of the MEVI further. I would recommend getting a y pipe before a MEVI first and please read the FAQs thoroughly.

well this is not true one does not make up for the other.you do not run just as fast in the 1/4 mile you car will be about .2-.5 theths slower.and know you will not get in the 13.xx with just the ecu and mevi its going to take alot more than that.im at the track every week. and ran with both and switched back to the usi after slower times and speed in the 1/4

The MEVI/ECU combo will knock off .2-.4 seconds off your 1/4 mile run.
