pearl white baby my car looks so nice in full sun, you can go longer without washing it, and i probably have a thousand little scratches on it, but haha you cant see them unless u go really really close

IMO i think red looks pretty nice, but i wouldnt get it cuz people and cops would easily notice the car when im ya.........

1. When I think of a maxima nicely styled sports sedan w/ *****. not an all out sports car. The maxima is definatley quick but not as quick as other cars you might see in a Bright red "crimson" color. I honestly cant think of another 4 door sports sedan that has ever come in a bright red color like that. In my mind if car is that bright it should be a two door and be able to smoke most things moving (stock of course).

If they had of put a bigger engine or more hp in the 99 it would be different.

Crimson Blaze is by far my favorite color offered on the 4th gen Maxima. I think my car would look so much better and stand out more in Crimson Blaze.

I guess that is why I like it.....uniqueness.
I have all of my badges and a lot of people just don't know what it is because of the color.
I like that.

I see your point though. *shrugs*

1. What about the Pontiac GTP? They made that is bright red.
2. Nissan is coming out with a bright red Altima SE-R.
3. Sentra Spec-V SE-R is made in bright red.
4. 3rd gen Maximas were made in bright red.
5. VW Jetta VR6
6. VW Jetta 1.8t
7. VW Golf 1.8t
8. VW Golf VR6
...just to name a few.

Are Jettas,Golfs,Sentras,or Altimas in the same class as Maximas? I do see what you mean. I didnt think of it that way... it is unique if nothing else.

big deal. it is still a altima. plus it wont be faster than a maxima esspecially the 5.5 gen. that is the fastest maxima ever built. a atima se-r wont even match those numbers. it might match the 6 gen maxima numbers but then i dont consider the 6 gen maxima a maxima cause it is built on the altima platform. so basically it is a altima with a different body and a different name.

no way i'd sell my car. i'm gonna have some custom bodywork done it pretty soon (shaving door moldings, trunk keyhole, antenna) and getting a bodykit and a new front end and then it'll be time to make it Daytona Blue (350z blue color)

I looked at maximas for a month before I bought this one.

The second I saw this pic in the ad for my car, I knew I was gonna buy it:

The #1 question I get when people ask about my car - "Is it black...?

My Maxima

I've got a 96 SE in "Granite Pearl". I love that color. Its more of a dark grey, but at times it looks black, navy blue, and even purple in certain light. I think its one of the best colors, along with my mom's 97 SE in "Sagemist Green", that the Maximas came in...also the rarest.

Sherwood Green along with Concord Mist and Crimson Blaze are the rarest 4.5 gen colors I believe. I would be interested to see how many of each color were made/sold. Anyone have any numbers?
