moisture in rear lights

moisture in rear lights

i just noticed moisture in my rear turn signal on the outside plastic. is there a way to get it out?

hair dryer and check for cracks, leaks, and holes, moisture just doesn't appear, find the crack and seal that bad boy

ya i have the same thing in one of my rear lights, what should i seal it with???

checked for cracks and found nothing. i probably need to remove the light, which is a pain.
and for sealent, i guess u can use "RMV Sealent" from home depot. i got this today, but for different purpose.

i use fish tank sealant, just because its purpose and the purpose you want it for is similar, to seal water in or out its gets the job done, have at it

rmv sealant is the same thing, i just thought that the fish tank sealant would not work cause it's not made to work in cold and in hot weather.

If you dont want to buy anything then just take out the light and heat it up in the oven for ~8min at 250-275. Pry the lights apart and then reseal/reassemble. That should close/repair the crack/opening that is causing your leak.
