Changed radiator hoses but did not flush :-)

OK - The board was down and I had some time on my hands so I changed the upper/lower radiator hoses. I didn't flush the system or anything like that. After replacing them, I filled the radiator back up w/50-50 mix and checked it the next day. When the radiator was empty, it looked immaculate. Should I flush the system anyways? What dammage could I do if I don't? It's on a '98 SE w/83k miles.

Also, IF for some strange reason I ended up leaving some air pockets in the radiator, won't it automatically suck what it needs from the reserve?

I searched the forum but didn't find anything! Thanks in advance!
