Code alarm ca-145

Hey guys, I'm thinking of purchasing the code-alarm ca 145 ( aka: the alarm w/ the two way paging system). I've got a viper 790xv on my other max but i thought i woudl give this a try. Anyone use it/have it?? If so, what do you think?

Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...

funny, im putting that on my car this weekend, being an employee in the circuit city roadshop, ive put these in many cars, i personally favor it, just because the fact you can add so much to it even after the fact of installing it, and gps tracking could come in handy one day who knows, that and the fact i get a huge discount and my labor is free, because i would install it with my fellow employees, on the clock, oh yaaaaaa!!!!!! its quality is comparable to viper alarms.

ok well one thing i mistaked was that im getting the CA 645 not the CA 145, but the one 145 is still a very nice alarm. the gps tracking im talking about is a small transmitter that is put in your car, if it ever got stolen you could find where it is located on the internet, you pay a monthly fee for the service but it could very well pay off. even if it wasnt stolen you could put it on your car, and you could look up where your car was at any given time. not bad for parents who want to know where there kids are, or at least where there parked. i personally probably wont opt for the option but, some people like the piece of mind. you might want to look into the 645 alot more features and can also be used as a turbo timer. if you ever go that route. i believe that 145 may have that feature but im not too sure, i sell more csi models then the CA because of the price difference. the CA models are alot more upgradeable though. and speaking as a friend not a salesman, get cityadvantage on anything you can, its just smart. especially with stereo equipment, something breaks most stereo equipment is a direct replacement. check your local ccity to get more info.

I'd definitely purchase a viper over code alarm. I've installed a few code alarms and they are nothing but trouble. Most of them seem to have the same problem(that my store has encountered). When the alarm goes off, it doesn't want to reset itself when you start the car again. I'm not sure if my store got a bad batch or something, but I have never had any problems w/ DEI product.
