300z caliper swap...how many pistons?

I've got 130k on my max. only have changed out the rotors a few times in its life time so far.(brembo x-drilled) At 130k is it time to change out my calipers? I've heard of max owners using 300z calipers. Whats the benefit? I am guessing the max calipers are a single piston set up.... what are the 300z's? What mods needed to be done to use 300z calipers on the max? thanx.

300zx has 4 pistons
Q45 has 2 pistons and 40% more pads
Both of them have the same diamiter rotors. Q45 is a lot cheaper than 300zx. I couldnt find any info on how to do the swap. Can any one explain or give a link on how to do the swap. All I need to know if I need to do any modifications to my car for 300zx to fit. And if that fits Q45 is the same way.
Thank you

I bought a pair of used aluminum z calipers in very good condition off eBay for $120 shipped. I called several "internet" junkyards and they wanted anywhere from $170-$250 for a set of used aluminum calipers. The iron 300z calipers go for much cheaper, <$120 on eBay, and <$140 from the junkyards. I actually have an extra set of iron calipers in good condition which I'll sell if anyone wants them.

I haven't installed them yet, since I still have the stock 15" GLE wheels. This is more of a project in progress which will be held up until I get new rims. I just bought the mounting brackets so I can use mustang rotors ($45), and still need to get the custom SS brake lines (~$100). The whole thing will probably cost in the neighborhood of $400-500. Check out the GD forums, I know some members are offering entire kits.
