So I just installed my new knock sensor and I wanted to see if the ECU was sensing there was a new operating part in my max, so I reset it. The only thing is, I had another problem code (0104 - vehicle speed sensor) also, which obviously disappeared with my resetting of the ECU. I expected only the 0304 (knock sensor) code to go away, but both of them were gone after the ECU reset.

I've logged about a half hour of driving time since then, is that code going to show up again or was it some malfunction in the ECU in the first place?? Did I just get rid of the code completely and I still have to fix it?

 

If it's still bad it should show up again. Certain systems are only tested under VERY exact situations so it could take awhile.

 

you had no problems with your KS wiring harness? cause i just busted mine lastnight i cant get the damn thing out!!!!
