BOSE stereo questions

I'm kinda new to the Maxima scene,I haven't even had her a month. Anyway, I've done some cheap quick stuff (clear bumpers, red/ clear tails/ good wax job) then i ran out of money. i already know im tinting the windows 5% all around (not exactly legal in Utah) then i need to upgrade the BOSE system. i still have the old deck form my old car (Pioneer Deh-P6400) and my two 10" infinity subs but i need to replace the interior speakers. I'm thinking i want Alpine component 6.5s Type-S in the front and the rear the two way Type-S. Is this a good idea to change out the BOSE? my rear stock speakers aren't even working except for that once in a while when they decide to sound magnificent. I'm really torn, because i really like the sound of the BOSE, but i need the BOOM my subs give me. what should i do? has anyone else had this problem with the rear speakers cuttin out?

hey man, i debated this myself, and if your speakers dont work half the time, its probably a short somewhere between the speakers and deck. but its all about what you want to do. personally, id just tap the subs into the rear channels and add some bass, hope i helped
