Pathfinder TB

I read the FAQ, but for some inexplicable damn reason 1) the pics don't work 2) I can't search to dig up old threads (it said to check out “Pathfinder throttle body installed”, but it's old, like 2003). I don't wanna **** up the intake so pics are gonna help alot.

BTW, how much did you guys pay for the TB and where did you get it? New? Scrapyard? Thanks...

you can get used 01 Pathfinder TB for around $200 from www.car-parts.com

But having the TB won't get you anywhere unless you have an adapter plate, which you could make yourself or get StephenMax or Krismax to make one for you. If you can get the adapter plate then it's a pretty easy mod. Only thing time consuming is port matching the intake manifold. The throttle cable and cruise cable hook righ up.

as far as gains, there is no evidence that there is any.

What Mike said, right on the money... Its a better mod for those who are boosted.. they'll see alot more gains.

What if I have a y-pipe/CAI, will the gains be significant?

Oh, and for those who did the adaptor plate yourselves... how much time did it take you? My dad's got lots of tools to work metal, ect. so I might be able to do it myself.

Well, I have headers, JWT ECU, MEVI, and intake...couldn't tell a noticeable differene with the PF TB. Does not mean it didn't do me any good, I just couldn't really notice it. I am of the mind set that a mod that may give .1 and 1mph will never register on the butt dyno.
