Squeaky Brakes?

The brakes are squeaking on my 1997 gle. What do I need to replace to stop it? Pads? Rotors? Both? ...And what is a good brand to get? What do you guys think of hawk pads? ...or is it just the combination that i have right now that is causeing squeaking. I bought the car used so im not really sure what is on it.

pads most likely

i like the rabestos quiet stops, not too expensive, very little dust, and i beat the hell out of them and they still last about a year.

IMHO ... without upgrading to bigger rotors or better calipers, no other pad is worth buying from a noise and performance standpoint. You will see no truly significance performance increase from just doing pads.
