Warpspeed!

I called warpspeed today and got a great deal on a y pipe, b pipe. Do you guys think the quality of sound and performance is good? im gonna get a Maganaflow ss muffler to go with those. I heard some one saying that a resonator would make it sound less ricey but does anyone know what kind? Please letme know.

A 38 dollar resonator also known as a glass pack is what you need. Dont get that muffler though leave jsut the y-pipe and dont do anything else to it.

i think their b-pipes arent the same length as stock. resonator will make the car sound almost stock with y-pipe. y-pipe and no resonator. consider yourself a fart cannon. how much did u pay?

If you WANT to sound ricey dont get a resonator and DO get the magnaflow, if you want to keep quiet and enjoy th gains, get just the y.

The SP2 is 100% SS whereas the SP1 is not. I had to add a second resonator to my SP2 though as it was too loud with just the one it came with.

I bought a WSP y-pipe through a gd here on the .org.
It was a good deal, and I am pleased with the sound/quality of the product.
You will love this on your car when you install it.

**NOTE: Don't pay too much for a b-pipe. Your local muffler shop should do it for around $50-$75. That is for 2.5". (I love the way mine sounds with a 5th gen muffler on it.)**

unfortunately no disagrees here... i think the straight pipe is overkill...

happyricefob that wasn't that bad, but it was a little loud for me...

I don't mind a loud car but I really can't stand the ricey/fart noise. This kid at my school has a Ford Probe GT with dual exhaust and that thing sounds like a chainsaw or a weedwacker. Oh my God, that pitiful Honda Civic noise that would tarnish my lovely lil Maxima. Do you think having no cats will increase the ricey noise or just make it louder?

here is my exhaust setup: Stillen y-pipe, Randomn Technology Hi-flow cat., custom 2.5" catback exhaust with Apexi-N1 muffler. i didn't have a resonator on it when i got it, it was loud and deep sounding, it would pop here and there but sounded killer......but i got pulled over and had to put a $35 resonator, it silenced the sound a little but made it deeper

Don't go with the MAGNAFLOW muffler if you want a quiet car. It doesn't sound bad but it's loud ALL THE TIME.
