I need an answer quick!!!!!

I have my 97 max suspension ripped off and I am installing the Tokico illumina struts and springs. No instructions were provided.Does the mass af the new spring go closest to the car or closest to the axle? Please direct me how it goes in or to a post explaining how to do it . THANKS GUYS
