Suspension suggestions for a noob

Hey everybody...Whaaasuup?
Ive been kicking around the org for a while, getting pointers, and saving some $$ for a few months now and finally decided it was time to join...
Anyways, i just paid off the max, and im ready to start some mods...#1 has got to be the suspension...I really needed tires, so i just picked up a set of 17 in enkei arrows w/ toyo proxes 4's (quite an upgrade over the old potenzas)...they look sweet, but like you all know, my wheel gap looks friggen huge now (as if it didnt before), ive still got way too much sway in the corners, and i sometimes feel like im actually bouncing up and down in and out of corners......So, im looking for some suggestions for a new suspension package...

At school, I tend to be the "group driver", as i have the nicest car of all my friends, so i do alot of driving with 3-5 people in the car... i dont want too harsh a ride, dont want too much added noise and i dont want any rubbing

I spend most of my driving time on the highway, although the time i do spend on back roads is really rough, because the streets in RI, and MASS really s**k...alright enough babble from me. Any suggestions?...thanks!

H&R, Progress or Eibach springs and Tokico Illuminas. Those setups will give you the best ride comfort and awsome handling. A nice 1.5" drop finishes the look of the car, nothing will rub.

I have the Tokico Illumina suspension kit on my car and I love the ride and the handling is much better. For the price you can't go wrong. Got mine from www.custommaxima.com

What brand springs does that kit use?

Tokico springs.

I'm running on the H&R/Illumina combo and I think it's one of the best mods I've done to my car. Smooth ride like that of a nice coupe and the reduced wheel gap is a huge plus.

Tokico Illumina shocks and springs. H&R are very good, just more pricey.

do it right man, spend the money and go with the illuminas with H&R springs. i spent over 700 dollars plus 70 for a re-alignment, but it was worth it. the ride quality is still there and the wheel gap is much less.

They're basically OEM replacements; they won't hold up with aftermarket springs.
