Changing Coolant Temp Sensor
Changing Coolant Temp Sensor
Since i cant use the search feature and its my moms car i decided to post. Her car is stalling and then wont start again... The Dealership says that its the Coolant temp Sensor and i ran the codes and got the same code. Where is it located and how do i remove it, so i can remove it and bring it to AutoZone and get the replacement. there are 2 diff ones that autozone says it could be.. So i have to bring it in to compare. Thanks...
You need the more expensive one. It's the one that goes to the ECU, not the one that goes to the gauge.
It's located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. THere are two sensors there. You need to remove and replace the larger one.

The 5th one down is the one you want. While you're up there, read all of them...
