Upgrading to a new Max???

Well, right now ive got a black 98SE auto. my dad found a white 5-speed 99SE (SE not confermed, Hopefully SE-L!!) Now, is there any way to tell if its a Limited, besides looking at the SEL badges on the side? all i know is that it has tan leather interior also, and i believe that its an SE b/c he said it had the same wheels as i used to have. but the reason id like to know, is that he said if he gets it he'll trade me! of course id get my wheels and everything off of it first. But also, how does the stillen kit look on the white, and is it true that if i got the MEVI it would be more effective on the auto?

Also, i think i remember reading that there's like a 99 and a 99.5, is that true, and are there any dead give aways that its a 99.5?

not too sure how to tell if its an SE-L, but I'm sure its an SE because you have leather seats so that rules out the GXE, and the GLE's dont come it 5 Speed so you have yourself a SE my friend.

the SE-L part is to be determined.

mevi is a waste imo you lose alot of low and mid-rarnge tq. i had it on my 99 5 speed for about a month before i put the old manifold back on. ill put the mevi back on when i go boosted next year.if you dont mind being slower in the low end i would say get it cause the top end is so much more noticeable.

If its an SE-L the interior gauges should be a titanium color as will the wheels.
