WHere the hell is my egr valve?

please tell me it isnt the canister tucked tightly beneath the throttle body.

i cant find anything that really matches the picture in my haynes manual

if someone could tell me or show me another picture, maybe a rightup id be thirlled

Cannister? It's a big, silver, metal mushroom looking thing under all the hoses.

Its right behind the TB on the back on the manifold. It had 3 bolts holding it in with 3 ecu conectors. There wild colors too you cant miss it like Red, purple ( i think ) and... i dont remember

thank you i found it but couldnt get a hold of a new gasket for it, so i ended up doing my brakes instead

Your describing the IAVC...the EGR valve is under that more towards the front of the engine tucked nicely under alot of hoses and stuff

the gasket is 5 or 6 dollars at the dealer.

thanks to everyone who posted ive taken off the iavc the egr and a crap load of other odds and ends around the manifold but for the life of me cant find any clogged hoses or openings.

im going to order an egr online and hope that will fix my issues.
