A/C not working

Since yesterday, my a/c doesn't work anymore. How can I know if it's only the fluid that is missing? And is it a DIY job to fill AC? I looked in the how tos but didn't find it. Should I bring it to the stealership?

You can try to put a can of R134 in it and see if that gets you blowing cold again. If it looses it quickly you probably have a leak somewhere. You can pick up a R134 charge kit at just about any auto part store.

Are there online write-up? Or do I only have to fill up a tank like the engine coolant or something like that?

The instructions should be on the can of refrigerant.

The spout or what ever you call it to add the refrigerant should be in the owners manual.
