back right window somewhat broken

back right window somewhat broken

i was rolling it up yesterday when i heard a crack or something breaking and then the window wouldnt roll up with some one pulling up on it, just wondering if anyone might know what it is and i was wanted to know how to take off the rear right interior door paneling

It's your window regulator. Mine did that about two months ago. Easy to fix, just find one from a junk yard. The motor and regulator are together, so don't think you can just fix it. It has a cable that goes through the motor and up and down the regulator and most likely a plastic guide broke and the cable is locked up. Take the door panel off (just pull on the edges of it and the grommets start popping). Peel away the protective plastic sheet carefully so you can reuse it. Then, unbolt the window from the regulator (2 bolts) and then unbolt the regulator and the window motor and take the entire assembly out as one. Reverse the process with the new one and you are home free. Good luck.
