how much should i sell my car for....

ok guys, just a feeler for now. interested in selling my car so i can get a new car. here's the list.

97 Sage Mist Green Maxima SE Fully loaded (leather, Climate Control, Sunroof, pretty much everything.)
Rebuilt Tranny about half year ago with a new clutch.
Engine replaced about 3 years ago for a I30 Engine 98'. (estimate 65-70k miles on engine, car 122k miles)
Alpine rear speakers, Boston Acoustic components
Stillen Intake, warpspeed ypipe, Greddy Catback with Apexi ws muffler.
Tein Adjustable Coilovers (Basics)
Velox Wheels (235/45ZR/17) (12 lbs) Tires about 90% left.
McCulloch Hid's 8000k (7 months old) New head lights, 3 months old (AE style)
Carbon Fiber hood, Carbon Fiber Interior kit.
Rear Sway Bar (From cattmam, and Front Strut Bar From stillen.)
Brakes replaced about 4 moths ago (OEM), STS Brake lines
Clear Corners and Clear Rears.
3 o2 sensors replaced just 2 weeks ago for brand new ones (OEM)
Air Condition is very cold, just recharged it along with A/C compressor also replaced 2 weeks ago.
Oil changes done with SuperSynthetic Mobil1 10w30 every 3k miles.
Overall, outside is in Very Good Condition, Barely any scratches and dings.
outside looks perfect.
Interior is also in Very Clean Condition, the only crack is on the center console, but can be replaced for like 20-30 dollars.

I think that's about it for now, cant think of everything.

Just trying to get a feeler on how much i should sell it for. please be reasonable. thanx guys.

$8,000 would have been my best guess for an enthusiast.
Sounds like your car is in good shape, but that is also a different color.
You need to make sure you find someone that likes the rarity of the sage mist green (I do) and then, you will not have trouble up-selling the other mods that you have done to the car.
Otherwise, just take the mods off, and get as much as you can for the car and sell the mods separately. You might get more money doing that, but it will require more effort. You could probably still get like $6.5 or so bone stock, and then whatever you make off of your mods.

Good luck.

I agree with everyone, unless you find some kid right out of High School that wants a car that looks good and has very little to do to it.
Before my last Max was stolen, some kid wanted to give me 11k for it. If you cant do that sell the car stock and then sell the parts, youll make more money doing that.

i bet starting all over is part of the reason, cuz thats fun in and of itself. as for what the car is worth i'd think about 7.5k. personally no matter how much i like the car its still a '97 and has had quite a bit of work done to it for replacement/wear parts, that kinda makes me weary... but otherwise i wouldnt see a problem with it going for 7.5k

haha, i play with the audi's all day long, meaning their A4's v6 or 4cyl turbo. my friend has one, and i smoke it all the time haha. but either way, i was thinking about boosting again, but car is getting old and i dont feel like fixing it all the time when something goes wrong. i just want a quick, stock fast car.

He got 4800 for it, not 5800. 5800 is however what I paid for my 97 SE (123k) for last week. Hence, that was in Iowa, I had to drive for it. Around here id be hard pressed to find one for that price. You should be able to get at least 7 for the car as long as you can hold out and wait for the right person to come around. If you have any stock parts lying around the house, put them back in! Youll make more money selling them separatley than you will by keeping them on the car. I would put the asking price at $7500 and see what you can get. Good luck.

on the enthusiast issue. I don't think you'll be able to get 7.5k for it up front. Not only have you had huge swaps done/rebuilds/etc. but you're also modded. This means that anyone who doesn't understand cars/maximas in general are going to look at your car and say "damn street racer" etc. That is a huge turnoff. That's my .02. Part it out without asking for outrageous prices on used parts, and you should be fine.
