Anyone with : 18"+springs with stock shocks?

This is what I'm considering atm becouse of Tein coilovers being illegal here Would it be too bumpy? Tires would be 225/40/18 and springs would be Intrax.. Anyone have any experience with this situation?
If not I'd like to know if Intrax springs are any good, they lower the car 1,7" in the front and 1,6" rear, right?

Thanks already

shouldnt have any problems especially with the 225. The drop is similar to the Tokico springs, my buddy has them with 18's with no problems. I've used intrax springs (check http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/346244/4 for pics of intrax) and the ride was fine upfront, but for the rear you really need some type of upper mount for added travel. There is a thread in the Group Deal section for some.

Btw I have Eibach pro-kit at the moment which lovers the car 1,3" or something. Do you guys think I should buy intrax just becouse they drop the car 0,4" more than eibachs? I rly hate it the height atm, it looks so 4x4 huge gaps.

Maxima10to1: thanks for the info btw and your car looks fiine

The Intrax springs won't make a huge difference, I'd go with Tein S-techs for a nice low drop.

oh.. the picture of my car in the sig is on Intrax springs.

Eibachs and Intrax have the same ride height in the front, trust me i did some tinkering. The rear is a totally different story. The rear Intrax have a much lower ride height than do Eibachs.

I have some pix of my friends car with the stock wheels. But they dont show a good comparison because of the picture angles and we both have black cars. My car (5 speed) has the eibachs, he (automatic and 2 12's in trunk) has the tokico kit. And still he ride heights are almost the same with this rear a bit lower than mine, and his front just a hair lower.

If you want a lower and more noticable drop get Sprints or S techs. Maybe Progress. But as you know its recommended to use aftermarket struts. IMO the Intrax drop sucks but the ride is very nice.

Euromax I have this same setup. I have Intrax that are a 2" drop. Stock shocks, 235/40/18s in the front and [I]245/]40/18s in the back. Big dogs baby! this setup is awesome. I am really stable in cornering. I have a strut tower bar also (this is a must). It's very stable and flat at high speeds on freeways and hard cornering. Check my homepage to see how it sits, and the rear view. the 245/40/18 are like porche or M3 width. Let me know what you think. Good luck.

Thanks guys.

Gramdacious ur car looks nice, I'd maybe want my car to be a little lower but then again maybe I shoudlnt drop it too much cuz my gf is driving it too and the winters here are pretty messed up. Im maybe also getting a subtle bodykit so that will lower the look of the car too. Btw sorry for my ignorance but wheres the tower strut bar located? I have one in my engine bay lol

Euromax, the strut tower bar is the bar that goes across your engine bay and connects the where the top of the shocks are. It basically "boxes" in your suspension, not allowing your shocks to bend or flex during hard cornering or at high speeds. I picked mine up on ebay for around $25. Well worth it for the price. I believe you can see it in the pictures of my engine bay on my homepage.

Ok I got that too. Just didnt know the exact english term for it thanks

And yeah my car is so high from the rear now with Eibachs so Intrax's would be a better choice becouse of that too.
