I don't think the curb weights of our 10 year old cars has changed in the 4 years old this thread is so what does it matter?

I really wonder what my car weights after all the mods I've made? I'm so curious I think I'm going to weigh station next time I have a chance! lol

 

it that true? it says on page one that the 5th genis only 100-150 lbs more????

Old thread, but still pretty interesting. I like the topic of weight saving because it's a "free mod" so to speak. Nothing like freeing up some HP for free.

I love shedding weight just as much as I love CF. My Max weighs in at around 2950 lbs with a full leather interior and power everything..... When I start pulling stuff on tracknights like the spare tire/floormats etc, it weighs around 2850 lbs.

I weighed my maxima and a friends '03 at the same time at a weigh station. With me in it I was right at 3k and the 5th gen was about 3600.

 

funny thing is I thought and tell people my car weighs around 3000lbs but when I looked at my title it says 2899 for my 99 5sp se w/o options.
