i need to no whats the best
oem factoy struts
tokicos hp or illimina
kybs agx

i live in ny where the streets are the worst i ever seen i want something with a great ride somethig smooth and comfortable with a little handling.


somebody please help me quick
i want to buy sturts this week
money is not a problem
also what the best strut mount

Illumina's. HPs are basically stock. Both HPs and stock would be the cheapest and would be fine if you're staying with stock springs. I've heard of way to many people with KYB problems (harsh ride, blown struts...other problems with other products).

ummm... are you putting springs on your car as well?? if not... kyb gr-2's and tokico blues have near stock ride. i have agx's and they are pretty stiff... good luck. if you're planning on putting on lowering springs with a large drop ie. sprints, tein s-tech (i think) then the gr-2's and the blues won't be able to handle the drop and will eventually fail. good luck.

most people say illuminas are a good choice because good ride, price over konis and adjustability also my opinion about the agx is read my sig

I have been very happy with KYB AGXs on both of my Maximas. A "harsh" ride has more to do with the springs than the dampers. My current setup (H&R/AGX) is the smoothest ride I've ever experienced in a lowered Maxima.

i'm using AGX on the lowest setting on SE stock height springs and everything else in my suspension is new including ES bushing
