my 95 max w/ 165000 miles on it has the wonderful diffy bearing problem. so im gonna replace the clutch/transmission............


im gonna buy my clutch before i buy my transmission, do i need to match the years? i'de imagine that any 95-02 clutch would match any 95-02 transmission. Please let me know.

The clutch is the same for 95-01 (not 02). And the transmission from a 95-01 (again not 02) will fit. There are a few reasons that the 00-01 trannies are better and they don't tend to cost much more so that is what I would (and did) go with.
