i was wondering if anyone on here has done an auto to manual mod. i am considering this being that i think my auto is not going to last much longer, just curious if anyone has and what they thought after they were done. please let me know. my other option is to buy another auto and have it built to take the power i want to put down

That's HLH0501's writeup on the matter. Lots of guys have done the swap on here, and have been successful. Swapping is pretty important if you're planning on putting down any kind of FI power. Besides the fact that the 5spd maxima is almost 1 second faster in the 1/4 mi than the auto.
