Hi,

My 98 se has climat control, on warm days i set it to auto, and the ac still doesnt seem to kick in, but after about 30mins of driving on the auto setting it starts up and is cold.

At first i thought it was low coolant, and i was gonna recharge the ac system, but now that i noticed it kicks in after 30 mins, im not so sure.. any ideas/suggestions?

Start by recharging the system.

Yea, sounds like you need a recharge. i need one also but i think it would be cheaper if you just wait until the winter. I may be wrong but on one of my old cars i got it done in january and paid around $80 for it. During the summer it ran about 130. Maybe i got ripped off??
