i got a really cheap one from a guy on ebay. probably no brand but it works the same. on where i placed it... i had it on the BCM at first so now it is zipped tied to the metal frame inside the center councel. if you take out your whole center councel.. you'll see the two metal frame that goes up and down on both sides inside. i just zip tied it to the left one. doesn't really matter what side but it gave me a better sensitive spot. if i hit my front tires with my palm hard enough.. it'll set it off.

also.. for those who have done this mod... can you press your "lock" button again once your alarm has been activated (after 30 seconds or when the security light starts blinking) ? for some reason.. if i lock my car and press lock again once the alarm is set, the alarm goes off. but i can keep pressing lock as many times before it is set.

aznprid972, do you by chance still have a link or possibly a pic of your sensor, also which way do you mount it, thru the bcm?

aznprid972, sorry but do you have directions, seems like your sensor had 4 wires, curious of how you hooked yours up and where you hooked it up.

Yeah I got that same shock sensor that aznprid972 did by his recommendation. Installation is a breeze and it works great.

But yeah I noticed that too aznprid... sometimes I go outside cause I thought that I forgot to lock my car and I press the lock button.... the alarm goes off and it takes a while to turn it off. Oh well, not a big deal. I think maybe the clicking of the bcm shakes the sensor enough to trip it or something.
