left front 02 sensor install sucked
I changed my front left bank O2 sensor yesterday. What a pain in the a@#. I used the 02 socket from autozone. There was very little room to manuver. It took me a long time to find a good angle (I did it in the dark with a flashlight...maybe not the brightest idea). It would seem I would have been better off using a stubby wrench rather than a socket. Anyone have any tips on changing this particular 02 sensor?
Pappa Grande everytime I see your org name I think of my grandfather, that is what we called him
.
Regarding your post, I felt your pain. Even with adequate light, it was a little awkward. I also used the wrench from Autozone. With mine I just used it to loosen it a little and then took it off by hand. Same when I tightened it, did it by hand, and final tightening with the wrench.
