How do you figure out what the launch rpm is on our cars? Brake torque? (but not for long periods though) And what the highest rpm it goes up to, is that it? Kind of a dumb question but?

I think you just have to mash it, and if your wheels spin(or squeel) the stall speed is to low?

If i understand your question correctly brake torque caps out at around 2-2.5k rpm. Atleast on my car with a bad KS and numerous CELs, It might be higher on a properly functioning car.

but you can't adjust the stall speed without a different torq convertor. I had my auto rebuilt 7 months ago and everthing is good but it just doesn't have the take off it used to. I was just wondering what our stall is and how you can test it.

No, you cant adjust it. You'll need a new converter with a higher stall speed. Testing, mash it and see what RPMs your wheels break loose.
