K, Take a look at the bottom, and see what I have, I was thinking of going with H&R and Tokicos, but I live in ruff country, and my car only has 20000 miles on it, so what other options are there. And what would you do? I was thinking of maybe going with 17s. But I have no clue, but the cheaper the better, just something to keep me busy.

Thanks

h&r's are close to a stock ride.

rims/tires can make a sweet car sweeter!!!

Either one will better the car.

Quit fooling around and get a damn SC, every other mod just passes time. I spent over 10 grand on mods on my 95 max and still did not have a SC, what the hell was I thinking?{don't anwer that LOL}

I wish I had the cash, but I am a lowly student, and I can pull a few hundred together at a time, but not a few thousand.

But for me to even consider a supercharger I would have to change the engine (over 110K). Im just going to have to stick with a ypipe and a pully then im done.

next mod

if i had the $$$$ i would get a supercharger, but you should get eibach springs, and tokico/koni struts. after that get a stillen big brake kit, since you are getting a big brake kit you will need new 17 inch rims and tires.strut tower bars and sawy bars. stillen short throw shifter, too many mods to list!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna have to say go with a RSB or FSTB. The cheaper of the 2 is the FSTB, but the RSB is gonna make a bigger difference. But since they're both cheap, I'd go with both.

I already have both of those.

Get a short throw shifter. And I'm assuming you have clear bumer lenses. That should automatically be the first mod to any Max.

The least amount possible, I was thinking H&Rs and Tokicos, but I live in colorado, and my 3rd gen was a back jarrer in the summer, and a snow plow in the winter with Eibachs, and Tokicos. Plus I am not sure that I will see much improvement with the H&Rs.

What part of CO are you from/ I lived in the Springs for 18years. My aunts and mom live in aurora, littleton and englwood. I drove my Max up there last summer and damn what a drop in performance. Sea level is heaven! Well, I'm still riding on stock suspension, and it really aint all that bad. I'd say go get an ecu. I rode in Johnnymax's 3rd gen, he has a 5spd w/y-pipe,CAI,UDP,exhaust etc, and I tell ya, the ecu makes a big difference.

I live in Golden, and go to CSM. My 99 seems to run really well here compared with the 93, but I can't imagine what it would be like at sea level.

Your Max would run a whole lot better at sea level. You'd almost think you a supercharger was magically installed on your car. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but it's a big difference. You'd definetly run mid-high 14's.

On the G-tech, I am running 14.9s cositantly, but I need to head out to Bandamere Raceway.
