Master Cylinder
Master Cylinder
When a car goes to the "dealer" for a complete brake job, would they automatically check the master cylinder if you need front and back pads and a hardware kit and rotors? I got a complete brake job and I took it back because the pedal was still soft, they checked it and said that there was nothing wrong. I took it to another mechanic and it was the master cylinder. Is the master cylinder easy to locate for a mechanic and should that be included in a brake inspection? They are willing to give me back my money for the labor, but not a full refund because I needed new brakes. Well, had I known there was still going to be any type of brake problem, I at least would have had the option to make another decision.
Thanks
