Switching Coilovers to springs

Im thinking about throwing out my Ground Controls, they are a lil noisy and anoying me.

BUT, im starting to think that alot of the suspension noises are coming from bad strut mounts. Would bad strut mounts REALLY make that much of a difference in comfort and suspension noise?

Anyway, second question. What kinda of springs are more comfortable that the GCs but then have about a 2 inch drop. I have mine set at around 2 inches dropped all around, and i was concidering sprints. But are sprints JUST AS uncomfortable as the GCs?

Anyone know the spring rate for the sprints? im sure theyre not 500 in the front like the GCs..

Not to sure your going to find a spring thats 2" and real comfortable.
I have Sprints, their definatly stiff, but to me their not uncomfortable. Some cant stand them though and claim they are too harsh and ride rough.
If you do go with a spring drop of 2' or greater, get adjustable shocks. Makes the ride alot nicer!

I am in the same position. I have GC's all around and I just got my sprints and illuminas in the mail today. I hope to install by next week.

I too wanted the 2 inch drop but was hoping for a more comfortable and stable ride...... I will keep my fingers crossed.
