First I just want to ask one quick question. When Installing the Tranny Cooler Does it matter which hose(top or bottom) on the cooler you run to the Return line terminals or can either hose go to either connection? Now to the main question. OF all the mods you guys have all done which ones gave you the best preformance? Intakes, Y pipes, b-pipes, etc... Also does the Transmission Cooler help with preformance at all. shift smoother or run better? Just curious about wich mods are worth getting. Ive heard a lot of people say dont waste your money on little mods, just save up and get a supercharger. However I am not going to do that because my engine has 86K miles on it and id like to keep it for a long time. Also does getting and intake take significate life from the engine? Thanks for listening!!! Take Care

Alright, an intake is not going to decrease the life of your engine unless you get some piece of $%#@ that's going to fall apart on you. All the aftermarket intakes do is increase the flow of air to your engine. I just recommend getting a K&N. The Transmission cooler will extened the life of you tranny regardless of mods. Cooler fluid temp = longer life. The biggest bang for the buck I've gotten so far was my Y-pipe, made a big difference. I think the only things that will add more power are the supercharger or NOS, short of an engine rebuild. Good luck.

One more thing, when you say just get a K&N do you mean a regular drop in filter or is there a K&N intake? Thanks

Anyone got an answer as to which tube from the cooler should attach to the stock Return Line connectors, or does it not matter which on goes to which connector? Thanks

I am still trying to figure out why a tranny cooler does not work on a 5spd Max? Anybody?

Btw I think the dude was implying that you should just get a K&N drop in filter. The Stillen Intake uses a K&N filter too.

BTW I highly recommend a RSB it is by far the best bang for the buck on a max.

No it does not matter, what I did was attach the top hose of the tranny cooler to the transmission and the bottom hose to the radiator. To me the transmission feels like VB mod, shifts are smoother and quicker. I can't say enough times how this mod is important and if you have an automatic I would seriously recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!
In relation to the best mod I would have to say NOS is the best bang for your buck in respect to performance. Show me another mod that will give you 60HP-100HP instantly at the flip of a switch. Y-pipe is second on my list and is more affordable.
