LEDs in climate control burned out...

A few nights ago i was drivin home from work and i notice that not all my buttons on the climate control were lighting up and some were. im not sure when this happened but it is obvious that some or one i dono LEDs burned out. How do i go about replacing them? is it easy? i was looking at the write up for changin them to blue but i was wondering if that is the exact same process if i just wana put it back to oem color because in all honesty i think blue is really played out now.

http://www.petah.org/maxima/hazard.htm i dunno if that's the one you're talking about. i'd imagine you could just use white ones or find the right bulbs at an automotive store. goodluck

Same thing recently happened to me. Not much to write an article about. You just follow the steps to remove the radio, and in doing so, you will end up with the climate control piece out as well. Fairly obvious from there, no need to disassemble the unit or anything. Bulbs are a ****ing ripoff at $7.50 each though, there are 4.

No - you do not need to take the climate control unit apart. Just get it out off the center console (same steps as when removing the audio system)... look on the back and you'll see the bulbs and it will be obvious how to remove/replace them. The bulbs themselves are pretty much a dealer only item - you can get them cheaper from Jerry Rome Nissan - about 4 bucks a piece.

Save you *** some money and don't pay 7.50 and LED. Go to the junk yard or from fellow org member in the classified section you can pick and manual control uint for less then 50 shipped. Just look around. Good luck
