what's the difference between open end and closed end...

the open end seems shorter and the closed end seems longer.. thanx!

12 x 1.25 is what i had to get to put on with my wheelz

you can get some nice forged light weight from southwestautoworks.com

12 x 1.25 open end are for wheels with caps that cover the lugs. closed end are for wheels that run no cover cap.
