Doesn't really matter where you start.
If your flushing or replacing the fluid with new fluid try this method.
Start at the driver side front wheel. Pump till the master cylinder is about 3/4 down, then refill. Do that 3 times so your master cylinder will be flushed and full of nice clean fluid. That gives you a nice clean reserve to start with.
Next bleed the rest of the system till you get clean fluid from each caliper. Go right around the car, right front, right rear, left rear and if you feel like it just crack the left front one more time. Remember never to let the master cylinder run dry!

Yes…start bleeding with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder. That’s how we always do it in the shop, and we’ve never had any problems.
I'm not sure if its just for ABS though..I've always done it with all vehicles.

Do not just go in order. VQuick and I recently had a very large problem when changing pads due to bleeding order. Maxima's have a different order due to having two main lines. The primary goes to RR and FL while the secondary goes to LR and FR. THE CORRECT ORDER IS: RR, FL, LR, FR. If you don't do it that way you end up with mad amounts of air. At least he did.
