i'd say blue, because it would throw off all the blue you did in the engine bay. it would be like seeing a car that had green doors, blue hood, red wheels...just doesn't look right....keep the flow and do blue calipers. when it comes to colors with cars, i say stick with the colors you start with.

i agree with the post above me, but personally i don't like bright colored calipers on any non-neutral paint colors (as in, they look okay on black, white, gray... but not on green), so i would say black. you could look into getting some "nissan" decals for the calipers, or hand-paint it, those little details look sick.

When I painted mine I went with silver to match the wheels. Actually, it was an Aluminum colored paint, but it matched really well...

Its up to you though...silver "cleaned" up the look of mine.

you could always get the g2 system... but face it... brake dust is going to cover whatever you put on there... honestly, im glad i didnt sell out for it too... for $5 my 1200* paint will virtually never wear off... yes it will fade from the sun eventually im sure, and brake dust will cover it... but the other day, i just sprayed water on it and they look like i just painted them... clean them with some soap and they will look factory! (slight exageration ) im about to change my brake pads in a few days so when my calipers are off, i will clean them and re-coat them with my duplicolor... it was a pain masking them off but it was worth it... i still kind of wish i took them off to do it, so im gonna do it right this time...

black will make them look nice but not stand out, if you want them to stand out at least get some nice rotors or somthing.

NOTHING you can do will make it look as bad as those idiots that paint their rear drums

Keep it similar to the color theme you've already started...no point in making a sexy caqr look like a clown car with many colors. Blue or black are the choices you should consider....unless you change the color theme of your engine bay....do it, do it!

I just painted mine black this weekend, nice and low key. I like it, it sure looks better than the rust color that was on there before.

i see a couple of posts saying add decals, will they hold up with that much heat. i know when i leave stickes in the sun they start to "un glue". how will they hold up to brake calipers heat, and splashing through water.

Yea thats true. I got a "E-Z" pass on my windshield and it comes off by the heat nevermind caliper heat.

i've never seen nissan caliper decals, but i bet you can get them somewhere. check ebay maybe? worst case, you could just stencil it on: find the "nissan" (or "maxima," or whatever) lettering online and print out a copy in the proper size (approx. 3" x 1"). then use a razorblade or xacto knife to cut out the letters. fit the stencil onto the caliper, mask around it, and paint.
