I searched for the information I needed but didn't come up with anything fruitful.

I have a 4th generation with 5th generation wheels and tires. I have a 99 GLE with 01 AE wheels and tires.

I wanted to know what the recommended tire pressure was. I called my dealer and he said he didn't want to give me an answer and be liable since the 99 didn't come with the 17 inchers. I don't want it to be too bouncy or under-inflated.

Any ideas or thoughts? Anyone out there with the 17 inch SE/AE wheels and tires? What are you guys inflating to?

...how much they inflate to, and how much they weigh. Then do the math.

I am sounding smart but I really have no idea if this would get you to the correct psi .
