I relocated my Knock Sensor

I relocated my KS, do I need to worry about the empty hole where the old KS was? I didn't put any bolt in there since it was such a pain in the arsss. KS cost me $192 @ stealership. I used one of the bolts on the intake manifold that was also 12mm it had just enoughh room all the way around for enough clearance to put the KS on. Its a couple of inches away from the KS wiring harness, sorry if I didn't explain that well enough Im new at this....

I wouldnt say you would have to plug the hole. There is a thread on knock sensor relocaion. Dont know how good of an idea it is. My knock sensor was $94 shipped OEM Ebay.

Moving the KS is a stupid idea. Why not just take the KS out of the hole and let it dangle in the engine bay?

you spent $200 on a new knock sensor then relocated it? You could have spent twenty cents and just ran a resistor to bypass it.
