Drive slower.

Change your air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, check your tire pressure, make sure your brakes aren't dragging.

If you used regular (87 or 89), might want to change to premium 91 or super 93.

I finally posted something! <- Doesnt that EVER come off?

I've been told the mileage for the Maxima on the city is about 20 miles per gallon. How much are you getting?

Check your revolutions. You may be shifting wrong or your auto transmission may be malfunctioning. Also check your idling revolutions. If they are high, you obviously will spend more gas. I think they should be at about 900 rpm when the engine is warm.

If it isnt one of those things, save your gas money for a new engine...
