Will I have problems attaching my stock muffler to my Budget B pipe?

My stock muffler isn't perforated completely yet and so has a few more miles to go on it. I'll even save a few more bucks by not replacing it right away. Now since the diameters of the pipes are different would I run into any problems attaching the flanges of both pipes or is this not an issue at all?

Not an issue, at least on my 95 and 97 it wasn't. Like you suggest they are different sizes and it is a bottleneck but no problem bolting them together.

BTW I just ran my best N/A time on sunday with the stock muffler connected to a 2 1/2" Budget B pipe. Maybe just the weather.

Thanks Jime!

Another question for you: how does the exhaust sound with this setup? Slightly louder than the stock b pipe? Since Budget put on a 14" Magnaflow as a resonator I was curious.
