300ZX Brake Master Cylinder???

Can you swap the 300ZX TT Brake Master Cylinder into a Maxima? Cuz my current brake master cylinder is totally shot. My brakes are about as squishy as my girlfriend's boobies. I know there's no air in the lines and the fluid is fresh. So I am obviously going to replace the Master.

I was wobdering the same thing, so I wouldn't get a squishy feel from teh 300zx calipers.

Thanks Dave. I was just wondering (me being an ex-Honda guy and a Maxima newbie) because I do know that some of the time, it isn't just plug and play.

I now need to make my tails darker on my car because of your sig too... Yum.

Awesome. I was planning on getting Axxis (PBR) MM pads and I already have a TON of Super Blue Racing fluid (got it REAL cheap at Waterfest) and DEFINITELY planning on getting SS lines with it.

Thanks for the help.

Better check on the compatibility... I don't think Dave Sz may have been serious...
FWD have crisscross circuits... our BMC on the 4th gen are 15/16" already.

Chit. I definitely already have one on the way. It will be here on Wednesday. If not, I can easily return it. But I'm really getting scared to drive my car (if it isn't the brakes, it's the fact that I'm about to blow up my third tranny.)

I'll let everyone know if it works. I'm probably going to re-upgrade the brakes and do a lot more at the same time as well. I am pretty addicted to heavy brakes, whether it be from an S4 with F/R 13.2" rotors with 8 piston calipers, or grippier.

You really don't need a larger BMC, considering even a AP or Brembo BBK makes use of the factory system just fine. Invest on either: good pads or bbk in that order depending on your budget. If I were you... I won't even try to mess with the BMC conversion. I don't know if anyone here has done it for the 4th Gen... I could be wrong, though.
