Yes, the JDM VQ30DE. I would like to consider getting one imported? Possibly a front clip with engine, trans, ecu, axles. Wouldn't this technically be a Maxima 3.0 with VI (MEVI) and LSD (i30t 5spd lsd tranny)?

Yah sounds do-able, you should def. twin turbo it too - or get the rb26dett and drop that in. Direct Bolt On HP. Either that or a chevy 350 bolts up too.

first, we are front wheel drive....and i believe that the jdm engine is rear wheel drive, cuz the cefiro is used for drifting. but there might be a vq30de over there that is fwd.

the rb26dett.....are you serious??? that will never fit in our cars.

I am referring to the A32 Cefiro. If the JDM vq30de does not have VI, then where does MEVI come from? The JDM rwd VQ is the VQ30DET, which is turbo... all of which is out of question for me. Basically I am thinking that a JDM Vq30de swap would take care of: newer engine, 5spd(w/ LSD), and VI..
