Always Illuminated Clock Mod

those of you who have done the Always Illuminated Clock mod......does this cause the hazard light and rear defroster light to stop working?

it shouldn't becuase the buttons and the clock have there own personal wire,.....

Well....since I cut the wire, the LED's in those buttons haven't worked.

yea.....i followed the directions from vqpower.com. has anyone else done this mod?

i did the mod and i lost all the lights in the climate control. at least replacing the defroster and hazard is really easy compared to changing the auto climate control lights.

what did you do to fix it.....just put the wire back together?

i didnt do anything to fix it yet.. I just bought led's from ebay seller : cwithk. Really cheap leds and resistors. You just need some basic soldering knowledge. Has anyone done their auto climate control? I see all the how tos for the manual climate controls.

you don't think if you connect the wire back it will go back on? I thought ppl bought LED's to change the color.
